Establishment license and approval of articles of association for SAs The request can be made through the Citizens’ Service Centres (KEP).

Processing Time: Up to .... days from the moment the application and any necessary documents are submitted to the service competent for issuing the final certificate (time is committing for the service issuing the final certificate).

Cost: 440 € for publication in the GG when Μ.Κ. is paid in cash, plus other fees in favour of TAPET etc.

Description

Procedure, preconditions and required supporting documents for issuing establishment license and approval of articles of association for SAs (C.L. 2190/20).

General Documents

  • 2 copies of the articles of association – notary public
  • Chamber validation, as to the trademark
  • Duplicate of National Bank of Greece compensating free collection (one in a thousand) over the SC in favor of the Competition Commission
  • Duplicate of Public Fund collection for the publication in the GG

Conditions

The Share Capital of the under establishment SA, must be at least 60,000 €. If it is the case of conversion of a different type of enterprise into SA, subject to development laws (L.D. 1297/72, L.2166/93), the amount must be at least 300,000 €.

Procedure

The representative of the company visits the KEP of his choice in order to apply for issuing establishment license and approval of articles of association for SAs, presenting the required documentation.

Step 1: The KEP employee receives and checks the documents that are presented by the citizen. If, during check, a missing or uncomplete document is discovered, the employee informs the citizen and refrains from submitting the Application.

Step 2: The employee fills in the electronic Application and creates a new folder in the KEP Information System. The citizen has the possibility, if he wishes it, to declare his mobile phone number and thus to be informed by SMS for the complemetion of the request. Finally, the employee hands to the citizen a request submission certificate in which the number of the request file is written.

Step 3: The Employee of the KEP sends to the Competent Entity the file of the case (which includes both the application and the supporting documents) in one of the accepted ways (email, fax, courier, post, etc).

Step 4: The employee of the KEP receives the final Document immediately from the Competent Entity and notifies the citizen (via sms or telephone) for him to come and take it.

Citizens visit the KEP and receive the establishment license and approval of articles of association for SAs
